Aaron Lanham, CPI

Meet our Owner and CEO Aaron Lanham! Aaron is from Harrison, OH and currently resides in Indianapolis, IN. Aaron found his passion for the Home Inspection industry after he spent 2 decades managing new home construction for the greater Indianapolis areas top Home Builders. Aaron graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1991 and then continued on to enlist into the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1993 to 1997. While serving in the Air Force Aaron served as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Specialist while stationed in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years. His training in the Air Force translated into the new home construction industry that he continues to work in and refine to this day. Throughout his time in this industry Aaron earned the Builder of the Year award for Indianapolis in 2006, and then again in 2015. Through his tenure within the building industry Aaron has gained over 30 years of experience in residential new home construction all throughout the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. With the inception of Watch Dog Home Inspections, Aaron wanted to transition to a Consultation and Inspection role that is adjacent to home construction where he can now advocate for new and current home buyers/owners; thus Watch Dog Home Inspections was born in 2018!
Since Watch Dog’s founding, Aaron has established a trusted reputation, has put hours into continuing education courses to innovate with industry trends, and has expanded into a multidisciplinary team that is dedicated to enhancing Watch Dog to its highest potential and then some! In his free time Aaron enjoys collecting vintage electronics, vinyl records, tapes and instruments. He also loves listening to music, going to concerts and spending time with his wife Jennifer, his family, his friends, and of course his fur babies; a Yorkie named Steve and Yorkie-Poo Maltese mix named Bo!
Peyton Johns
Financial Coordinator
Meet our Financial Coordinator Peyton Johns! Peyton is from Pendleton, IN and currently resides in Fishers, IN. He found his passion for the Home Inspection industry through his previous experience in the construction field where he learned the many different aspects of home construction all the way from reading the blueprints to closing on the home. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 2019 shortly followed by enlisting in the Armed Forces. Peyton continued his education through the Army by training to become a Technical Engineer up until 2020. Right out of the military, he began working for a luxury car dealership in Noblesville, IN where he learned to build customer rapport, the ins and outs of a variety of vehicles as well as closing many a car deal from the financing office side of things. Since leaving the dealership in 2022, Peyton has curated an active career in Finance, Billing, Human Resources and Operations for a developing ABA company. He then decided in 2025 to join the Watch Dog Home Inspections Team as our Financial Coordinator! In his free time Peyton loves to have carpool karaoke sessions, playing piano, going to the gym and playing with his fur babies, a Golden Doodle named Archie and an Aussie Mountain Doodle named Ellie Mae.
